My Inspiration

My absolute favorite decorating website of all time! This site has the most amazing and inspiring non-wedding event decor I’ve ever come across. I definitely have a web crush 🙂

I love browsing Etsy for ideas and deals on crafts for upcoming (and imagined) events.

Apartment Therapy will definitely inject you with some inspiration, just don’t blame me if you start rearranging your furniture…

To see how elements of just about anything, from fashion to interior design, meld together – nothing beats Polyvore. It’s a great site for creating inspiration boards. Another awesome feature is that it keeps track of where you found each item, so you don’t waste time going through your bookmarks trying to locate those perfect faux pearls 🙂

If you’re trying to figure out how much alcohol to serve at a party the drink calculator on E-Vite will give you a pretty good estimate of what you’ll need. It also has some cool features, like letting you choose whether your guests are light, moderate, or heavy drinkers.

For more recipes than you can shake a bread-stick at check out It’s a recipe sharing network where users submit and rate their culinary creations, saving you the guess work of whether the effort is worth your while. You have no idea how many meal ideas I’ve yoinked from this site!

A stockpile of fresh and modern event decor ideas is tucked into Accent the Party, a site that sells a ton of favors. I stumbled onto their party blog  (which includes a truly helpful diy section) and can’t wait to see what they post next.
